09:00 am

This is the 3rd Annual Neuroscience Research Symposium established by the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS) medical student chapter at the Howard University College of Medicine. Our primary goal for this symposium is to give medical students interested in the neurosciences an opportunity to present their research to an audience of their peers. Through discourse, and question and answer sessions, we wish to create an environment of multidisciplinary collaboration as we strive to contribute to advances in the neurosciences. We welcome all medical students to share their research in neurosurgery, neurology, and basic neuroscience as we all endeavor to grow in our understanding of the complexities of the central nervous system.

Please complete the abstract submission form by clicking the submit button at the top right-hand side of the page next to agenda. The deadlines for abstract and late-breaking abstract submission are 11:59PM EST on Friday, August 23 and Friday, August 30 2024 respectively.

Presentation of an abstract is not required for participation. If you are interested in this educational experience and supporting your peers, please email us with your intent to attend. All are welcome.
